No Place to Go: An Artist-Made Queered Haunted House directed by Serena Chopra, Kate Speer & Frankie Toan

Presented by RedLine Denver in partnership with 40 West Arts, No Place to Go is an artist-made haunted house where sociopolitical fears manifest in an immersive world. A collaborative project directed by Serena Chopra, Kate Speer and Frankie Toan, No Place to Go is a pandemic-safe, multi-site car tour in Denver’s 40 West Arts District and Wheat Ridge.

The work merges the absurdist storytelling of dance-theatre with interactive visual art installations to create environments where the audience can examine and embrace the interaction between fear and desire.

Each installation is a fantastical realm designed by some of the boldest, emerging, and mid-career artists in the seven county region: nolan tredway, Michaela Mujica-Steiner + Emily Marie Passos Duffy, Moe Gram, Nicole Anona Banowetz, Hayley Krichels, Hayley Dixon + Renee Marino, Chrissy Espinoza + Grace Cooper, Steven Frost, and BAGBAYSHA (Chris BAGley + Koko BAYer + Thomas ScHArfenberg). Composer Mike Clark and app designer, Bryan Costanza are teaming up to bring the immersive experience to life with a script written by Serena Chopra and Kasey Ferlic, and narrated by actor, James Brunt.

NP2G runs Thursday-Sunday evenings, October 22nd-November 1st. Each night, there are 24 Bring Your Own Car (BYOC) Tickets ($60/car), available.

For out-of-state folks, or for folks who would prefer to enjoy the experience from home, Virtual Reality tickets ($25/each) are also for sale (the VR experience will be released in November).

You can PURCHASE TICKETS at No-Place-To-Go.com, where you can also read more about each of our artists and find information about the show, including an FAQ page.
